An aside: As a dog lover I was a keen follower of Paw Print Magazine after first seeing it at my vet's office. Just loved Christopher Ameruoso's photographs and articles. I have a designer dog. Pickles is a cockapoo, a mix between a Cocker Spaniel with a toy poodle. She is a treat. Completely people-oriented, cockapoos are intelligent enough to train easily, hardly sheds, forgives quickly, and Pickles is so affectionate I never feel alone.
When I decided to get a cockapoo and started buying various items for my soon to acquire fuzzie, one of the most important items was a dog bed. And since I was getting a designer dog I absolutely needed a designer bed for the designer dog. A friend told me about GoodnightDog an e commerce site that sells round dog beds covered in upscale designer fabrics. "Excellent" I thought. When I went to the site I found a fabric that coordinated beautifully with my living room decor and one that actually matched the toile fabric in my bedroom. How perfect was that. Guests who visit often mistake Pickles living room bed for a pillow that has fallen off the sofa. LOL.
Sad that Paw Print Magazine is no more. Pickle passed a few years ago, but I now have another cockapoo called Scampy.
Christopher Ameruoso is still photographing celebrities. To see what he is up to go to his current website at: www.chrisaphoto.com/ And if you really love his work like I do, buy his book: Pets and Their Celebrities. It's available on Amazon. I have this book on my coffee table in the living room and invariably everyone who sees it automatically picks it up and enjoys it.The pictures are beautifully presented in black and white. It is interesting to see what type of dogs and pets celebrities are drawn to. Definitely a good book to own and to add to your library.
